AFANADORA SYNOPSIS Estefana, a young woman in her late
twenties, works as a bathroom attendant in a rundown club on the
Mexican side of the Border. Insecure and curious, Estefana is
constantly exposed to a world that she both finds unfamiliar and
familiar. In awe of the young yuppies that frequent the nightclub, she
admires the way they dress and look. Accordingly, she attempts to
subtly imitate them but is not exactly successful. One fateful night
propels Estefana to confront who she is and decide between a highly
indifferent world or a new beginning.
